The NRSA brand has long been a bridge between Central Districts Basketball Club and STARplex members. Now all these organisations have come together to create the Lions Academy. Players will begin their sporting journey through STARplex with its professional staff of administrators, coaches and coordinators. Then onto the club for team-based coaching and competitive games. Skills development along the way is a shared responsibility that NRSA has historically looked after. Now under one roof, the Lions Academy encompasses the following:
Elite 8 (Invitation Only)
Precision and attention to detail stressed and pursued. Weekly clinics designed to improve player’s skill level, develop confidence and execute consistently.
Lions Junior Academy (Invitation Only)
Teaches advanced skills to emerging talent by certified coaches with the purpose of achieving in the future. Athlete skill level, physical fitness, total body strength, mental sharpness and technical abilities are honed.
Lions Senior Academy (Invitation Only)
This is a high intensity training program to run parallel to an athlete’s competitive schedule. High level input by athlete s is matched by detailed analysis by coaches on and off the court. We get things done in Lions Academies!
