IX. Uniform Policy (March 2022)

In an attempt to present an organised competition to the community, STARplex asks players to follow the uniform expectations below.  It is our experience that a tidy competition leads to tidy behaviour, which is the #1 reason teams and/or umpires remain in our competitions

Thank you for playing your part in making STARplex Courts a safe and fun place to play.

 

Netball 

i) All players on a team shall wear the same colour undershirts.

ii) Matching bottoms shall also be worn on each player.

iii) Nose studs and ear studs can be covered.

iiv) Any size metal ring or loop on the exposed surface of the skin is prohibited.

v) Bibs (w/ position) shall be supplied by teams.  Here are some known suppliers:

             v.1 Bib hire may incur a fee (extra cleaning & handling)

             v.2 Bibs may not be available 

             v.3 Bibs are & shall remain on the property of STARplex/Trinity College 

 

Basketball

i) All players on a team shall wear the same colour top with a unique number

ii) Matching bottoms shall also be worn on each player.

iii) Nose studs and ear studs can be covered.

iv) Any size metal ring or loop on the exposed surface of the skin is prohibited.

v) Bibs may not be available to hire at all times – may incur a cleaning & handling fee

 

Penalties

Netball – 3 pt maximum (at the discretion of match officials)

Basketball – 5 pt maximum (at the discretion of match officials)
